Winter Spot

At times during the winter you're tired of being cooped up inside. Finally, it's warm enough to go out and actually enjoy a bit of the lovely snowy landscape. It's nice to have a little winter spot to take it all in. Muniick's winter refuge let me do just that. This great set for 60L Happy Weekend has just what one needs. This set includes 11 pieces you can mix and match with any other winter decor you have. Or you can even use the...

Haute Couture

Ever been to one of those New York Fashion Week runway shows? Were half of the stuff, you're thinking to yourself, why would anyone wear that. Especially at all those haute couture dresses. Then there is one you see an it's like OMG that's stunning. In that dress you'd be the Belle of any high fashion Christmas party. It's a shame that this year you're unable to kill it or make a grand entrance in this beautiful dress. Why...

What once was

Have you ever come upon an over grown piece of land? Then stood there and wonder what could have stood in it's place long ago. Perhaps a church, school house, plantation, or mansion. You eye what little rubble ruins remain and let your mind fantasize about what once was. As you leave the only thing that is left is the rod iron brick fencing. If this fence could talk what would it reveal? It's a bit modest looking, not too...

Captured by a Thought

Have you ever found yourself captured by a thought? Where everything around you seems to fade. You hear nothing, see no one, forget where you are. At times it can be blissful and others perplexing. I found myself captured by a thought today. One where I was just lounging outside in the brisk Fall air. Taking in the smell of the wet earth and the hint of rain in the breeze. The rustling of the leaves the quietness of stillness....

Slasher Victim

With all the horror movies on this time of year. How can you not wanna be in one. I'm sure a lot of your out there want to be the hero of these flicks. Show those big bad killers, monsters, or creatures what's up. Give them the real ass kicking they deserve. Or maybe you're one of those people who rather be the knife slashing, ax chopping, chainsaw wielding murderer. As for me I think it would be awesome to play the victim....

Live the Adventure

"Da da da da ... da da da ... da da da da ... da da da da da"      When I saw Muniick's  60L Happy Weekend special. I instantly started humming the Indiana Jones Theme song. I stepped into the Iconic role and recreated one of the best scenes in Raiders Of the Lost Ark. This awesome Saddle Gap Hanging Footbridge comes in 14 pieces that you can put together to create your very own bridge. Inside the folder you will also find...

We wanna stay

Never again....NEVER AGain! I tell ya. Ugh those darn fur babies can act just like real babies sometimes. I took just a few of them on a run at the beach this weekend. Everything was going along just dandy like. Until I decided to take a short break, catch my breath, and give the dogs a bit of a rest. We played in the waves, I watched as they chased a few crabs, and even barked at the sea lions. Then it was time to pick...

Flea Market Finds

Nothing quite like waking up at the crack of dawn just to find those bargains. After all when it comes to flea market finds, the early bird always catches the worm. That's just what Pru and I did recently. We went Flea Market bargain hunting. At one point Pru and I came across this stall where we couldn't make up our minds on which pieces to take home. Everything there looked like it could have a place in our house. We finally...

There be bears in these wood

Pru and I decided to head out into the woods this weekend. Do a bit of camping and enjoy nature. Nothing quite like the smell of fresh air and hiking along the trails. We left Friday afternoon, packed up the car, and we're off to the great outdoors. If I know one thing about my girl, is she can't go too long without a shower. We got lucky enough to find a campsite close enough to one of the four outdoor showers this camp ground...

Street Art

With everything that's going on in this world. People have taken to the street to express it. Street Art is popping up all over the world. Related to what's going on in the world around us. From Covid-19 Art to art telling people to stay home and be safe. To pieces giving thanks to the first res-ponders. Also several expressing the unrest of racism, police brutality, and the Black Lives Matter movement. I knew I wanted to...

City Living

Just because one lives in the city, doesn't mean you can't have a little relaxing spot. Even if it's just adding a few planters, simple table, and chairs. Perhaps a small fountain to help drowned out the city noise and make it feel tranquil. Before I could complete this little beautiful spot. It was missing a little something. So I looked over this weekend Second Life sales. I found just what I needed at Muniick. These...

Gone to the Dogs

Aaahh!! This place has gone to the dogs. Pru decided to take a little day trip with the girls. Here I am stuck with all the fur babies. Mind you this isn't even half of them. As you can see I've been over run. If your looking for Herman, you won't find him. Since I got him for Pru she won't let that little pup leave her side. Thank goodness, cause I don't think I could handle another dog at this moment. Here I...

Fond Memory

Take a brief stroll down memory lane with me. Everyone has fond memories of the male figure in their lives. For me that was my Uncle, how I miss him. I use to go to his house after dinner and catch in his study/ office. He would be siting in his drafting chair looking over some blueprints or plans. At time I'd just lean against the door jam and watch him quietly. When he passed the one thing I wanted was that old drafting...

EYE CAN"T SEE!

It all started the other night. When Pru wanted to go to the beach. I was like, "sure, it's been awhile since we have. Lets go and soak up the sun." We get to the beach find a sweet spot by the water. Laid out our towels, pushed the bag into the sand, and took off our sandals. I look up and she's disappeared. I turn all the way around trying to spot her, then I here. "Babe...BBAABBEE Over Here!" She's standing next to the surfboard...
