There be bears in these wood

Pru and I decided to head out into the woods this weekend. Do a bit of camping and enjoy nature. Nothing quite like the smell of fresh air and hiking along the trails. We left Friday afternoon, packed up the car, and we're off to the great outdoors. If I know one thing about my girl, is she can't go too long without a shower. We got lucky enough to find a campsite close enough to one of the four outdoor showers this camp ground has. We pitched our tent, settled in, ate some chow, and turned in early.
Man, I don't know how she did it. Pru was up earlier then I was. By the time I woke up she had already cooked breakfast and was sitting reading a book. She offered to cook me breakfast, all I wanted was a shower. I put on my slides, grabbed my towel, and was off to the shower. As I walked closer I smelled something pungent. It reminded me of wet dog smell, but far worse. Then I got no more then two feet from the shower and I saw it. A HUGE black bear in the shower. I just reacted, turned tail, and ran. I know.....I know...you're never suppose to run from a bear. He must have been enjoying that shower so much. Cause all he did was open his mouth and I was gone. Good thing for me that bear didn't budge. He just stayed right there letting the water rush over him.
As for me, I don't think I ever ran that fast in my life.  There's Pru with her nose still in her book. Completely oblivious to my near heart attack ordeal. Hey if this Upcycled Barrel Bath and Shower is good enough to get a black bear clean. Just imagine what it could do for you. You can get your very own Upcycled Barrel Bath and Shower at Muniick this weekend. For only 60L as part of the 60L Happy Weekend Sale. Don't worry bear not included. I think I'll skip my morning shower. Hopefully by the evening this bear would have moved along. Time to hit the trail and put some distance between myself and this bear. I'll wait until we're a couple miles way, before I tell Pru. No need to freak her out or be scared. To be honest, I'm more worried she'd find it cute. We don't need another furry baby. At least not one that nearly killed me. Enjoy your weekend and stay safe.

Street Art

With everything that's going on in this world. People have taken to the street to express it. Street Art is popping up all over the world. Related to what's going on in the world around us. From Covid-19 Art to art telling people to stay home and be safe. To pieces giving thanks to the first res-ponders. Also several expressing the unrest of racism, police brutality, and the Black Lives Matter movement. I knew I wanted to do a post with DRD newest group gift once I saw it. It's definitely how most of us are feeling about this year. We still have less that half of the year to go before it is over.
I struggled with how to set this blog up. Then it finally hit me. What better way then to make it Street Art. It sends that message to the masses that 2020 deserves the finger. DRD July group gift includes a face mask, can hat(not pictured), and a tank top in sizes for both sexes. The DRD group is free to join, so this gift will only cost you a group slot. If you're as sick of this year as I am, already. Then sport this gift and let people of Second Life know just how your feeling. I personally have been wearing this tank for the last couple of days. Thanks DRD for this great gift, I'm sure I'll be wearing it again before this year is over. 2020 THIS BIRDS FOR YOU!!

City Living

Just because one lives in the city, doesn't mean you can't have a little relaxing spot. Even if it's just adding a few planters, simple table, and chairs. Perhaps a small fountain to help drowned out the city noise and make it feel tranquil. Before I could complete this little beautiful spot. It was missing a little something. So I looked over this weekend Second Life sales. I found just what I needed at Muniick. These Upcycled Garden Planters, made out of a vintage sewing machine full of red rose, and old wooden drawers with yellow Poppies. Gave me bit of homey, rustic, look like you built it yourself, chic. That I was looking for to finish off my beautiful, private balcony escape from the hectic energy of the city.
