Gone to the Dogs

   
     Aaahh!! This place has gone to the dogs. Pru decided to take a little day trip with the girls. Here I am stuck with all the fur babies. Mind you this isn't even half of them. As you can see I've been over run. If your looking for Herman, you won't find him. Since I got him for Pru she won't let that little pup leave her side. Thank goodness, cause I don't think I could handle another dog at this moment. Here I was trying to share with you some of the great gifts out at The Man Cave's 3rd Anniversary. I rolled back the area rug and laid out Bee Designs cabin blanket on the floor. Then I tossed Junk Food's On the Go Items (Keys, phone, wallets) on the table. Also on the table is the cool black skull ashtray from Broken Arrows. Finally, I set out the 220ML Diamonds Tears whiskey and poured me drink.
     After all that, I took a quick shower, dried my Roy Hairbase from Not Found, and lined up the Balbo beard from Magnificent. Took one last look in the mirror at my Drake face from Stray Dog. It was now time to get comfy. I pulled on the tank and short outfit from #Enrage. Went back into the living room where all the dogs decided to follow me. I plugged in the floor fan from SLAM. Cause it got a bit stuffy inside. I got comfortable on the floor ordered a pizza and checked out the Messengers Journal from Modulus while I waited.
     WARNING Never bring a hot pizza in a room with a fan that is full of dogs. As you can see I wasn't even able to enjoy a single slice. They had me as soon as my feet hit the rug. Ar least they got to enjoy the pizza. I just hope they lick it all up before Pru get back. It'll save me from having to scrub it off all the pillows and rug. While I'm trying to get up and wrangle these dogs.

Fond Memory

 

     Take a brief stroll down memory lane with me. Everyone has fond memories of the male figure in their lives. For me that was my Uncle, how I miss him. I use to go to his house after dinner and catch in his study/ office. He would be siting in his drafting chair looking over some blueprints or plans. At time I'd just lean against the door jam and watch him quietly. When he passed the one thing I wanted was that old drafting table and whatever else he had lying around it. It may not get any use in my home. When I happen to glance over in the corner it sits. It always puts a smile on my face. When I came across this Alto Drafting Room set at the Vintage Fair. I just knew I had to have it. That way when I'm in Second Life I have a little bit of real life home with me. A piece of my Uncle in both worlds, that'll always make me smile. Thanks Muniick for this wonderful set and the fond memories it brings me.

EYE CAN"T SEE!

     It all started the other night. When Pru wanted to go to the beach. I was like, "sure, it's been awhile since we have. Lets go and soak up the sun." We get to the beach find a sweet spot by the water. Laid out our towels, pushed the bag into the sand, and took off our sandals. I look up and she's disappeared. I turn all the way around trying to spot her, then I here. "Babe...BBAABBEE Over Here!" She's standing next to the surfboard rentals. Mind you I've only tried surfing once, it didn't go very well. She talked me into it, that girlfriend of mine. Pru could probably talk me into just about anything, to be honest. That's just what she did. Going on and on about those old beach movies. How she always liked the part when you see the couple surfing on the boards together. Yup she talked me into it all right. There we go out into the middle of the ocean trying to catch a wave. Me hoping neither of us could ever stand up on the board together. Wishful thinking, I tell ya. Cause before I know it, it happened, we're both up, and keeping our balance. Then out of no where Pru's climbing up on my back, then my shoulders. "What are you doing?" I say. All I hear is her screaming and yelling. Then her hands are all over my face trying to hold on like some scared cat clinging to a log in a lake. I'm yelling "My Eyes!  EYE, III...Can't SEEE!!!" Pru's yelling for Help like a mad woman. Finally it comes to an end as the surfboard hits the breakwater and we both fall off into the foam. She quickly, crawls to shore, panting, and coughing a bit. I stand up grab the board, dragging it to shore. Then she looks back over her shoulder and starts in. "Why did you make me do that? That was terrifying. Don't ever talk me into something like that again." We banter back and forth about it for awhile. Looking like an old married couple I'm sure. I saw a couple of the surfers laughing at us, at one point. After that Pru didn't wanna stay much longer. At least we looked good in our new suits, for the short time we were there.
     The bikini Pru is wearing and the board shorts I got on are from Mishmash Fusion. They will cost you just $2L if you can find  the little surfboard. Well worth it, if you skip the pose and just go to the beach. Unless of course you want your girl to poke your eye out. Granted my eyes, survived our little adventure. Baked with Love

     
     At times the one your with needs to take a trip. For guys it's like WHooHOO!! Time to call up the boys and host poker night. Or sit and watch sports non-stop until she returns. Eat what you want, scratch where your want, belch the alphabet, and pass gas all over the house. For now your stuck trying keep yourself occupied. I did the normal things, gardening, cleaned out the garage, fixed a few things around the house, and binge watched some tv shows. Then I found myself really missing Pru. There is always something that pops up that reminds you of them. Whether it be a song, movie, time of day, smell, or food. You're a part from one another days on end. Here I sit bored and trying to keep my mind of her. Usually there are sports on Tv to help a guy with that. In these times, UGH! Sadly there are no real sports to speak of. Unless you wanna watch old telecasts. Granted I have been doing that, but there is nothing like live sports.
     So I decided to do some baking. As we all know a woman can't pass up on fresh baked goods. Especially if they got chocolate in them, on them, or contain it. I figured I'd bake up some sweets for my Sweets return. I pulled all the essentials out of the cupboards in our kitchen. Mixing bowls, pots, pans, cookies sheets, cake pans, canisters, cookie cutters. An of course the standing mixer. Which by the way has three speeds and six colours for it via touch menu. This beaut of a mixer is Muniick 60L Happy Weekend sales item. No bakers kitchen is complete with out a great standing mixer. Am I right?
     Before I get to baking I tossed on an old pair of shorts and ditched the T-shirt. That way I wouldn't get it all full of flour, batter, or chocolate. I tied on this apron from Atlantis Design. It is their Menstuff hunt $0L gifts. With a cute witty saying on it and in a nice neutral tan colour. The Allstuff hunt runs all month long. They got a long list of Hunt gifts for the guys out there. All of the items are priced $0L or $1L. Not to worry cause this hunt includes ALL the stuff groups. Which are Womenstuff, Menstuff, Homestuff, Posestuff, and Kistuff.  You will be looking for small shirts that are the  colour of the respecting groups. There is something in this hunt for every one. Your bound to find more then one item you'll like. O ow erre and eerrt yyyyuur annz on teezz uurffe. Sorry, I just had to have a taste. I said go out there and get your hands on this stuff. As for me I have to finish this baking before Pru gets back. Make sure they look extra special and got a little note that says Baked with love. Uhh, not to mention clean the kitchen. "No, no, NO! Phoebe get off the counter" Darn cat, looks like I'm starting with the cleaning. I better get to it.
