Christmas is coming soon and that means it's decorating time here in Second Life. Believe it or not I actually enjoy decorating here in Second Life. It doesn't even have to be Christmas for me to do it. Come this time of year I find myself doing Advents and hunts for winter/ Christmas decor. I happen upon A Shopping Carol event and hunt completely on accident, I'm glad I did. Today I bring you a few items from this hunt. What's even better is they are all free aside from a couple. You'll be looking for a jingle bell on a red ribbon. It'll be holding your free gifts. This event will only last until December 26th. Now let me tell you all about them. The rather cute and glitter glam Christmas tree in my window is from Lacrime dell'anima. It comes in green and frosted, lite or unlite, you can change the colour of the balls and tree skirt. They both have a matching 6 colour HUD that'll surely match any colour scheme your going for this Christmas. Next are those classy hanging ornaments made by Myth. The shape, style, thinness, and transparency will bring a touch of elegance to any Christmas decor. The cocoa tray and blankets are from Roawenwood. Just another examples of Roawenwood simple yet fantastic decor. It's perfect for these winter evenings when you wanna be outside and need something to hold that'll warm your hands. With one click this tray gives you a cup of cocoa. So place it by your favorite winter sitting spot and enjoy. The vintage rustic looking sled by Muniick. The texturing on this piece is top notch and my picture doesn't even do it justice. It's a piece one doesn't even have to put away once the holidays end. You can keep it our all year round For when you got a small corner or just need a piece to fill a space. This is the piece for that; Not to mention you can also sit on it by yourself or with a cuddle buddy.
A Shopping Carol isn't only a hunt it is also an event. Which participating stores have put out a new release for you to buy and enjoy. Once your eyes feasted on these over-sized Nutcrackers I'm sure you'll need to have them. Not only for the fact they are nearly as tall as I am in Second Life. Also because Muniick does a superb job of making these look so realistic. Right down to the wood grain showing through the faded paint. You can get the set which comes with both the Drummer and the soldier. It also includes the Poinsettia on the holiday crate for only 198L. Or if you rather just have one or more nutcrackers you can buy then individually for just 99L. Or perhaps your looking only for a festive looking Poinsettia to place next to your door or fireplace. You can get your hands on this lovely holiday Poinsettia for a mere 79L. Go get your hands on these wonderful decor freebies for A Shopping Carol hunt.
