The Gardner

     I found myself in the Fairelands again today. In a place called Harvest Home. It made me feel like I walked back in time onto an old Italy farm. Cows grazing, horses feeding, and goats running the fields. Along with a grand vegetable garden, fields of wildflowers, and grape vines as far as the eye can see. As I walked the path I caught a glimpse of long blond flowing hair round a tree. I then turned my attention to the rabbit that just ran across my shoe. I heard a giggle behind me as I lifted my foot and watched the rabbit scamper off. Turning around to come face to face with a big pearly smile, glistening eyes, golden blond haired man. "At least you are not wearing any laces on your shoes. Otherwise, you may have to fret, for he likes to untie those. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Gidion Sachs the gardener of this lovely land" he said with a smile. I took a small step back, seeing as we were just a couple inches apart, I held my hand out to him. He looked at it then me again and smiled. I let my hand drop and greeted him warmly in return. "You can call me Blue. Aren't you worried about the rabbits eating up all your crops?" He shook his head and said "Of course not they know which ones they are allowed to eat and which ones they are not. The flora, fauna, and I have daily conversations, we are great friends." I turned to look back as something brushed across the back of my leg. Then I felt a pull as my hand was grabbed and tugged. Gidion, was pulling me by the hand, behind him across the lawn. There he was calling to someone, or something named Cello. Tugging me a long as he tried to catch up to them. We abruptly stopped, and I nearly ran into him as I tugged my hand free. Gidion dropped to his knees, proceeded to sift through the tall grass. "Cello come out please I just want talk with you a moment. I'm not cross with you about the peppers I planted that extra one, because I know how much you like them." The grass rustled and the wiggley pink nose of a rabbit poked out, followed by the brown head, and long ears. The rabbit crooked his neck and seemed to look up at the fair-haired man. Gidion giggled and shook his head. "No silly it's quite all right, that is why I planted that extra pepper plant. I just wanted you to meet my new friend." The rabbit looked up at me, shook his head, then quickly hopped back into the grass and disappeared. Gidion looked at me with a bit of a frown. "Now, why didn't you say hello to Cello? He called you rude an ran off." I looked back at him, confused. "Say hello? I don't talk to animals." He put up his hand, turned, walking away from me. "Then you sir are not welcome in my garden. How absurd, does not talk to animals. I had no idea he was one of those people. Here I thought he was a friend. Oh, No, he doesn't talk to animals! Like he's special or better than the rest of us." I stood there watching him walk off talking to himself. I walked back towards where I came in. Then it dawned on me, I said that all wrong, I quickly set out to find Gidion and explain myself.

      As I was about to give up, I stopped to admire the wildflowers. Magically before my eyes, Gidion appeared sitting among the flowers. Glitter dancing around him and flower petals floating in his hands. "Didn't I ask you to leave my garden? What are you still doing here?" I kneeled in the flowers in front of him. "I am sorry, that came out wrong. It is not I don't talk to animals. it's I can't talk to animals. Where I am from, we do not or unable to talk and understand them." He lively clapped his hands, the petals whooshing around him then back between them when he stopped. "I knew it, I just knew it, you are a friend. Sit, sit...flora make room for our friend." The wildflowers parted opening up a place for me to sit among them. There we sat as Gidion told me all about his friends, the flora and fauna of  Harvest Home. Just before I was about to take my leave. He looked at me. "Hush don't say a word, close your eyes, and listen very closely........... Do you hear them?" I closed my eyes, listening scrupulously. Hearing a faint whisper, then a murmur, finally it was a humming, like a song. "Are they singing?" I asked, "Yes, yes you can hear them." Gidion smiled ear to ear, his blond locks flowing in the breeze. "They sing for you a song to guide you safely on your way. It was a pleasure to befriend you Blue. I do hope we meet again someday. I did so enjoy our time together, buh bye, and safe travels my friend." Just like that Gidion turned into flower petals and was wisped away with the breeze. Come morrow these Fairelands will no long be visible to me and you. Until next year, if we're lucky new Fairelands will reveal themselves. Once again, perhaps, I'll be able to slip the veil between their world an ours. Bringing you on yet more journeys of these magical, mystical, marvelous lands.

Demon??

 

     The other night I wandered into a place dark and dreary. Not gonna lie a little bit scary. I could hear footsteps but could not see any one through the fog.  All I heard on this bone chilling breeze was Ondheim. I believe that is where I was in the Fairelands. Milling around this darken land, only a glow with telaish green lights. Al abruptly stopped, I walked right into her. As I looked over her shoulder the ground shook. A man? Flames all around him, magical staff in hand. Doing what looked like a Black Widow marvel landing.  This was no man, Horns protruding from his head, dragon scales covering his body, and eyes all a white, void of any colour. Al walking backwards against me. She turned quickly walking past me. "Nope, nuh un, not doing that, I don't get paid enough." I followed after her and grabbed her shoulder. She shook me off and kept going. That was the only glimpse we got of this man, person, devil, demon. At least Al got a photo before she made, well we made a beeline out of there. I am sure Ondheim  is a great place for some, and many may enjoy it. What can I say it wasn't for us. With all honesty, we're just two, big scaredy cats. If you're brave enough to dive into it, hit me up. I'd like to hear all about it. Until next time peeps.

Ogham Grove

      

     Yes, it's me again Blue and I'm back to tell you more about the Fairelands. When entering Ogham Grove my camera woman Al and I. Ended up above the land on a rock formation linked together by rope bridges. Don't get me wrong the sights were beautiful from up there and the sun felt great. How on Earth did we end up here? We crossed a couple of bridges going from one rock formation to the next. As we're crossing another bridge, we hear this sound of things whizzing past us from above. I hear Al let out a slight scream as an arrow grazes her arm. Then out of thin air we here what sounds like a battle. We stop briefly on the bridge to try and tend to Al's wound. When there's this grunt like muffled scream followed by a man falling from the sky. As he passes it seems to play in slow motion. It's a warrior riddled with arrows going pass our bridge and towards the ground. I instinctively looked up, my mind trying to fathom where he came from. I felt the bridge shift and I grabbed Al just before she's about to go over the side.

     We finally made our way to the forest floor into a stream of walking people. Snaking through them down a path there's a break in the forest. Here it is we find a down log to sit on. Almira slips off her jacket so we can get a better look at her wound. She runs her hand over her upper arm pushing her sleeve up. There is nothing there, not even a scratch. How could this be and where did it go? A passing Druid woman stopped to talk to us, introducing herself as Bodhmall.  She told us of how a mere touch from some Elven woman can heal such small wounds. That is most likely what happened as we made our way through the people.  We recounted the events of what just happened to her. Bodhmall looked at us and smiled. Telling us not to worry, that the veil between worlds can sometimes be thin in spots. She'll contact the right people, so they can reenforce the veil where needed.  I look at Al and said, now you don't have to worry about a house fallen on you. She rolls her eyes and smacks my arm. "haha haha you're so funny." She hates my Wizard of Oz jokes when it comes to her. I can't help it after all her name is Almira.  Her built and gait are very similar to the actress who played the part in that film. 

      As for Ogham Grove, we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Bodhmall, gave us a tour of the beautiful forest woods. Where the little critters ran around freely. Some of them even stopping to talk to us. Bodhmall translated, we had a wonderful conversation with a jackalope. Who was very curious of where we came from and if critters like him existed in our world. Ogham Grove is a captivating place full of lively creatures and friendly beings. They also have a very bustling shopping district. Where beings and creatures come from far and wide to spend their coin. As for Al and I, time to get back to our world. Maybe she'll take out the broom and gets us home faster. "Hey I heard that!" Al, udders from the background. Until our next adventure in the Fairelands. Peace everyone.

Mur the Merman

               

     Hello and welcome back it's Blue the bold and sometimes humorous. Today I've traveled to the deep depths of the sea. Visited the Fairelands known as Thunnus Bay and The Last Stop. In the oceans of Thunnus Bay it's like ruins of Atlantis or some long lost sunken city. Here I came upon fish that swam up right, mermaids, several types of species that looked like humanoids but weren't.

                    As I continued my exploration I found The Last Stop, another underwater place. At first it gave me chills and no, it wasn't because the water was cold. Perhaps it had more to do with the fact it was unabandoned underground tunnels. My mind couldn't help but start running through horrors movies. The movie IT, came first and foremost in my mind. I was expecting to hear Pennywise say "We all float down here Blue." I continued on and discovered a wonderous place, with schools of fishes, coral reefs, and more creatures I've never seen before.  There was this one guy, well man, more of a merman to be exact. That I had saw in Thunnus Bay and now here. Was he following me? Or.......Oh no he's walking this way. Play it cool, act like you don't see him, or haven't seen him before. Here he comes making a beeline right for me. What will I say? Will he understand me? Will I be able to understand him?

                       "Why hello there. Didn't I just see you at Thunnus Bay as well?" He asked sounding like Mr. Limpet. Oh, yes, I was there a bit ago.  I'm Blue, it is nice to meet you. You are? "You can call me Mur." I looked at him a little confused. Well yeah, you're a Merman so doesn't everyone call you Mer? "No, no it's not Mer, it's Mur." Ok Mer the merman, you got it. He shook his head and gives me a big bluster No, spraying like Rugor Nass. "No my name is Mur, short for Murry." OOoohh, all right Mur, I got it now.  Mur and I spent the next hour talking away about all sorts of stuff. He's a very go with the flow type of guy. He was all so kind enough to let me snap a photo of him to share with all of you. So if you come across Mur the merman. That's Mur not Mer be sure to say hello.  Until next time internet peeps. My backyard

     

     Guess who's back? Back again? Blue that's who, go tell a friend. Weaving a story not from the Fairelands. But the yard, my own backyard. Picture this if you will. The fantasy spilled over into my world. Not by choice, but by thy wife. Who went shopping with my coin when I took her along. My mind thinking free vaca bring the wifey come on. 

   Enjoying the sights, sounds, all the Fairelanders abound. From Wistlyn Shallows, through Ogham Grove, to Sunstone Oasis, we had so much fun. Wifey was keying for in every realm shopping became her thing. which brings me back to the yard, our backyard you see. For construction took place unseen but hammers, sawzalls, the sounds filled the air. 

     I went to go take a peep but Pru pulled me away and told me not to peek. Silence resonated in the air. Pru grabbed me so excited to finally share. With a snap of her fingers there it appeared. A life size Mushroom house straight outta a cartoon. The wifey stood there her face all a glow. She rambled on about how she grew up watching the Smurf show. As you can see in the yard, my backyard. My wifey can be Smurfette and live out her childhood dream.

The Elven Prince

     

      Hello and welcome back it's your guy Blue here once again, bringing you my venture into the Fairelands. Today we visited the realm of Miralume, a beautiful, serene place. With white crisp walls, come hither statues, and ornate stain glass windows. At first you don't notice it, once your there for a few minutes. This veil of calmness spread over you. All the stress worries you may have vanish, forgotten. It's so tranquil that you feel like you're walking on air. I don't know if they pump placebos into the air or what (just kidding). It feels amazing to be this content. Well, will you look at that? I sat down, and I don't even remember doing that. 

     Let's get back to taking this place in and seeing what it has to offer. Several quaint shops with treasures never seen before. Others with wonderfully magical things. As I walked the winding paths, I was greeted by a High Elven Prince named Hyarmendacil. Yeah, yeah, I know I butchered his name. What can I say I'm not fluent in Elvish. Please don't make me say it again. He told me how Miralume, is the ancestral home of his people. They've lived there for thousands of years, hidden from most by a magical veil. Only once a year, that veil allows those pure of heart to slip through and discover Miralume. Hopefully, you too can be one of the few to experience this wondrous place. That's all for me today. I think I'll sit and enjoy the calming serenity of this place a little longer. Until next time, my friends.

     Hello and welcome I'm Blue. Join me on a journey, beyond, and into the realms of fantasy. Picture this if you will. A place in time, that happens only once a year. Where time and space turns into a bunched up ribbon. As you walk this ribbon, each new curve leads you to a new sim, world, realm. Where worlds of fantasy come to life right before your eyes. 

   I'll take you to several different realms among what they call the Fairelands.  As we explore these never before seen places. What will we learn, who will we meet, and what sights will we see?
